Have tutored indigenous and country students before 2006 UAI: 93.5 (97.5 with rural points added) Throughout school I always committed myself to my studies and all areas of my schooling life which created a passion for education in me. I was 1st in my school academic years from year 7-11 and came equal 2nd in year 12. I have studied education and am taking some time off before entering the full time work force. I have a passion for travel and have volunteered in India to help with the establishment of a school as well as doing leadership seminars in Sri Lanka and Vanuatu. I was elected in 2005/5 to represent Australia in a Lions Youth Exchange Program to Norway, Denmark and London. I have also travelled to China, Japan, Africa and Dubia. I was given the honour of receiving a Young Australian of the Year award in 2006 which encourages me to keep involved in the community. In high school I studied: Food Tech, Commerce, Darma as electives in yr 10 and my year 11-12 subjects were Chemistry (yr 11), 2 Unit Mathematics (yr 11), General Mathematics (yr 12), Advanced english, Extension 1 english, Geography, Community and Family Studies.

Hobbies

I love to travel and get the most out of life. I attend a local church and enjoy all types of out door activities as well as reading and board games :) I'm very easy to get along with and think that learning needs to be interesting and fun. I thrived at school through my studies method (some of which were juggling while I memorised things, weird and wacky acronyms and rhymes to hep me remember facts).
