I earned my bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Newcastle.
Experience
I have four years of experience as a tutor during which time I've worked with students from grades 4 to 12. I love to teach and did well in my high school math courses and continue to study it at a university level. My approach to teaching is to provide as much encouragement as possible. I incorporate a variety of activities, such as fun memory techniques and quick quizzes. I encourage younger students to work neatly in their notes and other areas to foster strong organizational skills that can support them in their high school years. I can keep explaining a concept or demonstrating an approach to a problem until my student fully understands it. Once the light bulb goes on, my students can more readily recall the material and build upon their knowledge. Through my study sessions, students can gain confidence in their study skills.

Hobbies
I love to teach, my style is to be very encouraging incorporating things like fun memory techniques, and quick quizzes. I encourage neatness in books to younger students, a skill that becomes very important in later years of highschool. I like to keep trying at a problem until a student truly understands it, trying as many different way of interpreting a question until it clicks for a student, until it clicks its hard for the student to ever really remember what to do and to build on that knowledge.
