I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from the University of Newcastle. I am also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Justice of the Peace.
Experience
I am currently working as an accountant for a public firm. I have over 10 years of experience and frequently train new staff members who are of a graduate level. I have also assisted many of these new staff members with understanding accounting concepts at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. I am currently working in taxation and therefore specialize in it, however, I am also adept at providing insight into basic accounting concepts. I am patient, understanding, and able to explain concepts in multiple ways to ensure that the student can completely understand them. I can help with specific subjects such as human resources or intermediate accounting, or I can concentrate on broader study skills that can be applied in multiple ways.
