Experience
I have a keen interest in teaching languages and about linguistics, as well as English literature and creative writing, to high school and university students, since these are subjects I am passionate about and feel I have insights and skills worth sharing with others who need help. I have had previous informal experience assisting German lecturer at UON in leading tutorials after graduating the program, as well as having received first class honours for my Linguistics thesis, and taken a number of English courses during my studies. I consistently succeeded in English throughout high school, and in my final year I received top grades for Advanced English as well as Extension English 1 & 2, and received an award for Extension English 1, as well as in Vis Art. I am also a performing musician and arts event organiser in my home city, and have a published collection of my poetry distributed by the New Zealand-based Girls On Key Press.
