2010 - HSC in Music, Japanese Continues (Advanced), English Advanced and Information and Processing Technology. 2011 - NEWSTEP Enabling Program in Literacy and Communication, Science Studies, Mathematical Studies, Directed Studies (Comparison report on Mythology and Theology), Linguistics, 'Reading, Writing and Research' and Philosophy. 2012 - to enter a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese & International Relations (Contemporary International Studies) and Anthropology.
Experience
Japanese - I have studied for around 5-6 years, completing Japanese Continuers (equivalent to Advanced level) in my HSC. I will be studying Chinese next year which will give me a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Kanji dialect meaning an increased ability to assist in the learning of Kanji in Japanese. Japanese was my favorite subject throughout my primary and secondary schooling so much so that I continue to practice on a weekly basis to maintain my language skills. Music - I completed the standard Music course during my HSC, learning to play the bass guitar and small amounts of acoustic guitar and piano. Even though I only thoroughly studied musicology over the 2 years of my HSC, I feel competent to provide assistance to those who require it. Chemistry - I have a deep interest in Chemistry, having topped my year in science in 2008. And have experience in School Certificate level Extension Science. My skills in chemistry were refreshed this past year whilst participating in Science Studies.
