I am in my final year pursuing my Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in ancient and modern history.
Experience
I excel in the study of ancient history and have covered most areas of Roman and Greek history. I have also studied Pompeii and Herculaneum extensively. Throughout my degree, I have taken the following history subjects. I studied Roman society, Greek society, Sparta, war in the ancient world, medieval and early modern Europe, a survey of Roman archaeology, and a lot more. They say those who do not study are history are doomed to repeat it. Understanding how our ancestors lived can shed insight into the world around us today, and how we should behave as modern ethical human beings. We can observe historical parallels with modern events, and watch the events of the world unfold with special clarity by contrasting what is happening today with what happened in years gone by. Greek history is especially important because we owe so many developments in the modern world to Hellenic culture.
