Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Arts with Education with a specialty in History and Geography (University of Dar es Salaam) and an MA degree in Global Development and Africa (University of Leeds). I am now doing a PhD in Politics at the University of Newcastle, Australia. My PhD project is on the politics of natural resources in Tanzania with a special focus on the recently discovered natural gas.
Experience
I have worked as an Assistant Lecturer in History at the University of Dar es Salaam since 2012. I have been teaching undergraduate courses on the Economic history of Tanzania, history of West Africa, History of East Africa and Capitalism and Imperialism in World History. This experience has equipped me with relevant skills to enable me do tutoring in any issues concerning African history, African Studies and Africa's place in the global political economy.
