I earned my bachelor's degree in medicine and a bachelor's degree in surgery. I completed my HSC at Hunter Valley Grammar School in 2011.
Experience
I have one year of experience tutoring twelfth-grade students in extension 2 math groups. I also have four years of private tutoring experience with 15 to 20 students in varying levels of high school math, chemistry, biology, physics, and creative essay writing skills. In my degree field, I have an abundant opportunity to practice ideal interactions with young children when I am in a pediatric setting. I like to think that I have a friendly and fun attitude that is perfect for teaching younger students. I can help break difficult math, physics, chemistry, or writing concepts down into smaller, more manageable components that are easier to understand. I really enjoyed high school, and was lucky enough to thoroughly enjoy every subject I did throughout year 11 and 12. Currently studying Bach. Medicine/Surgery, I rarely get to do any maths/English, and tutoring provides an opportunity to do so, so I actually enjoy it! (This is probably why I charge $35/hr instead of $50+ like many other comparable tutors). Having received top bands in both Extension 2 Mathematics and Extension 2 English in the HSC, I feel adequately qualified to develop your/your child's subject understanding and, more importantly, teach them to enjoy their study
