At the moment, I am working as a science teacher for students in grades 7 to 12 for the New South Wales Department of Education. I was previously a Great Teaching, Inspired Learning (GTIL) Scholar in 2017. In addition to this, I have worked as the head demonstrator and tutor for CHEM 1010 and CHEM1020 at UoN for a few years. I also have 14 years of experience working as a professional tutor for secondary and tertiary science students in the Newcastle region. I provide a personalized and flexible tuition service that caters to the needs of individual students. My focus is on developing students' confidence in their course material and developing problem-solving strategies that allow them to apply this knowledge in exam situations. I have a patient and encouraging manner and have worked as a tutor at a variety of levels including secondary school students, undergraduate students, students preparing for GAMSAT, and postgraduate students.
