I was enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in commerce, at the University of British Columbia, for 2 years. I have studied Human Biology 1 and 2, pathology, immunology, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and exercise physiology at the university level.
Experience
I have worked as a math and English tutor for students aged 6 to 15 and am the treasurer for the Model United Nations Society for the University of Newcastle. As I have a solid foundation in English writing, mathematics, and science, I can assist students in learning these subjects and related concepts at various levels. I can cover AP Chemistry topics as well as assist in reviewing material and preparing you for the TOEFL exam. To learn effectively, a student must be motivated and be able to relate to the material. I can help in these areas while applying teaching methods that allow me to personalize each lesson to their learning style, goals, and interests. I find this makes a student want to learn more and helps improve their confidence.
