Experience
I am comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects including computer programming, mathematics, MATLAB and its applications, applied mathematics, and Labview programming. Whether I'm teaching C++ or ninth-grade mathematics, I like to point out how and when my students might use the information to make learning feel more beneficial. Engaged students will always outperform disengaged ones, so maintaining each pupil's attention is a key aspect of any educator's job. STEM subjects are always hiding in plain sight, so I can incorporate nearly any hobby my student enjoys to make lessons more engaging. For example, video games can be a great gateway to computer programming, while sports fans can develop a greater appreciation for numbers through their favorite teams' statistics. I am also familiar with the International Baccalaureate program and can help students taking classes such as Computer Science SL and HL.
