Private tutor in Newcastle, Australia
Education
I earned my bachelor's degree in medicine from the University of Newcastle. I also have a bachelor's degree in medical science with honors from the University of Melbourne and Newcastle, The Northern Hospital. Additionally, I have a bachelor's degree in medical and health sciences- advanced from the University of Wollongong. I have a Higher School Certificate.
Experience
I have been tutoring for 8 years now in both school and university subjects privately and through institutions. This includes 5 years of tutoring many university courses from anatomy and physiology to sports science and medicine. I have worked for 3 years as a PASS leader in chemistry and medicine subjects and 2 years of teaching in other university tutorial programs. I have also worked for 3 years as a private tutor for private tutoring companies. My most recent tutoring experiences have been in medicine, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, chemistry, and biology. I can also provide primary and high school tutoring for subjects like mathematics from K-10th grade, science up to year 10, chemistry, and biology. I am a patient, dedicated, and passionate tutor, hoping to help students achieve their potential and excel in their pursuits. I always adapt my sessions to the student's needs. Everyone is different, learns differently, and has different needs. I try to break down difficult concepts into simple ideas and build them up from the first principles. I think it is essential to help them develop a strong understanding of the material. My aim as a tutor is not to help students go well in their studies but to help them develop an understanding that is long-lasting and hopefully to nurture a passion for learning.

Hobbies
Studying medicine means that keeping a balance between study, work and your interests is incredibly important. I love exercising and going to the gym and have also been involved in sports. I enjoy reading widely in a range of areas outside medicine and am always trying to learn something new. I also enjoy drawing and my signature brownies are always a favourite.
